I needed a release for my love of beautiful gardens. To me this is a haven, a Danish haven. I like that conservatory with the beautiful French windows and stone walls. In Danish this is called havestue, which literally means 'a garden living room'. The house was built in 1907 and when the owners bought it in 2003 there was hardly anything in the garden, just wild grass and a few trees. Look what they've accomplished in eight years! Let's give some credit though to the former owners who put their energy into renovating the house itself, which is gorgeous. What I love about this garden is that you can sit everywhere. When viewing the photo gallery itself I counted six tables with chairs, two benches, one of them with a table, and I'm pretty sure I saw two other tables with chairs in the background.
Have a great day!

ReplyDeletethis is definitely heaven on earth!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so dreamy and romantic, yet very natural and achievable. Although maybe not the outside space with a rood. That would be fabulous.
ReplyDeleteyes indeed that looks like heaven to me too : )
ReplyDeleteWonderful. I have a large garden and a large patio, Big projects about both, but I don't have the time to do anything. I bought paint for the patio three years ago, and it's still there. Not to mention the garden. Weeds everywhere. I would like to know what kind of life have a person that lives in a house like this one. You obviously don't have a day job.
ReplyDeleteI love the garden living room! It's just beautiful!
