pink in springtime

Welcome March! These days I am all about pink, especially pink flowers. The moment I fell was when I saw a photo of buckets filled with gorgeous pink tulips with flower heads just starting to open. I haven't stopped thinking about them. Pink is not my colour, that is I never wear pink except for a soft pink scarf every now and then, but pink flowers in the springtime are more than welcome in my home and I have found soft pink bedlinen, which I'd like to purchase this spring.

What's your relationship with pink, do you bond well?

  1. Always smiling when seeing the same saved images here, the first one is in my files too;) Our radar is quite alike haha. What a gorgeous post, these flowers are making my heart beat faster. I most often choose pinkish flowers. And yes I'm bonding perfectly well with pink on every level :) Soft pink bedlinen hmm that would be heavenly!

  3. Those flower arrangements are gorgeous, the peonies look so delicate and beautiful! I love pink, but would only wear it on occasion - I mainly prefer pink for accessories like stationery :) xx

  4. Oh Lisa these are gorgeous!!!! I too am suddenly drawn to pink and have no idea as I usually don't like it at all! I have a need for some of Cabbages and Roses linen prints - bright splashes of raspberry florals against crisp white grounds - divine! Must be the weather or perhaps Spring really is on it's way? Sending hugs from this old farmhouse - Glenda xxx

  5. I can't say that pink is among my favourites, but I do own a dusty pink silk blouse that I've already worn too many times. I have to quickly find a similar one, because I need my pink item in my wardrobe. :) But pink flowers? That's a different story. Pink peonies, garden roses, tulips, today I will have fresh flowers in my home. ("little March", wink) xoxo

  7. Bleikur varalitur og 1 náttbuxur. Nú á ég 3 stelpur og ég held það hafi alveg hjálpað mér að pakka öllu bleiku sem ég á niður. Hérna flæðir allt í bleiku svo ég sjálf væri ekki á það bætandi. En mér finnst þetta hressandi litur. Gaman að sjá vorpóst. Það er eitthvað svo fjarlægt hérna.

  9. I look like a pig in pink most of the time - if I use it I keep it on the lower part of my body with a skirt or so, not close to my face. I do think the pale pink is very beautiful though! :-)

  10. Pink and I have a love-hate relationship. Unless it's the palest shade, I don't wear it. But pink flowers - lovely!

We welcomed March with a snow and ice storm!

  14. I love pink! Not so much hot pink, but the cooler shades in the spectrum are right up my street, esp, in blooms!

  15. Pink is my happy color. I would happily be surrounded by it anytime. I even wanted a pink couch but needless to say hubby put the kibosh on that ;-)
