For some time I've been collecting images of kitchens with white tiles – subway tiles – that seem to fit in every kitchen, be it a rustic one or a more elegant one. I'm beginning to dig that look more and more, probably because it appears timeless and it's so easy to pop things up with colours. I had to include the image with the arabesque tiles at the bottom, which I have a bit of a crush on too (how cool is that tap above the cooker?).
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!
Beautiful, Lisa. i am especially fall in love with the wall and tap in the last kitchen. is gorgeous. Have a wonderful weekend...
ReplyDeleteLove thees kind of tiles too, and the arabic tiles are fanastic, but must be horror to ceep clean..

Have a wonderful weekend.
I like a bright and spacious kitchen. These walls give that impression even though your kitchen is not as big as you'd like it to be. And an elegant note is always welcome. Have a lovely weekend, Lisa! Ada
ReplyDeleteMalena, no I didn't post it but Ada at classiq.ru posted a beautiful one: http://classiq.ro/a-thought-on-japan and also Signe at SignePling: http://signepling.blogspot.com/2011/03/monday-morning-randoms_14.html
ReplyDeleteThose arabic ones are so gorgeous! The other ones can be very good and cozy basic for a kitchen I think, as you said you can easily bring in color. Hope you have a great weekend:)

We've been house hunting and most of the kitchens need some serious work. I've already decided I'm going the white route. This is perfect inspiration.
