red, white & vintage

I have to say that I wouldn't mind having a house in the French countryside, where I could embrace my love for vintage style. I'd fill it with white and then add at least one colour to spice things up, just as the owner of this Hamptons home has done so fabulously with red (click on the link below to see more images). A girl can dream, right?

I hope the weekend treated you well and that you have a wonderful week ahead!

  2. Hey Lisa, I had a wonderful dinner party on Saturday night and a full day at the beach yesterday, although I'm extremely tired today.

These photos are divine! This is my type of design style too. I wish I could paint everything in my flat white, but my husband won't let me :-)).

xoxo Hope you had a lovely Mother's Day weekend!

  3. Ah, such an inspired choice of colours! As the weather is still awful in Bucharest, I have my eyes on that hammock, dreaming of sunnier and warmer days. :)

  7. Oh, my. The French countryside. I would have a house with a veranda, covered in flowers. There would be eggshell blue walls in my kitchen and I would roam around either in charming lace aprons or understated gowns.

    Haha. Happy Spring,
    Claire

  9. You know, I never really think I like red and then I see it used like this and change my mind :)

  10. The adorableness of this romantic style always gets to me. I've never seen it so good looking combined with red! In my dream I'm having a house in France as well and if it's going to be styled romantic there will be at least a few light pinks in it...

  12. Just amazing :) The reds really make it but I don't think I could pull it off in my own home...
