k&a recipe: chocolate hazelnut spread

I have just added my own chocolate hazelnut spread recipe to kitchen & aroma (it was already on my Icelandic food blog). The children helped me create this recipe with their taste buds and it is delicious. The spread can also be used on ice cream and it is oh so good! You should have heard the yummy noises at the table when we first tried it with ice cream – I think the neighbours got scared!

I cannot believe it's Thursday already. The week has simply flown by and I've hardly had any time to be online. I'm hoping for a quiet day at home tomorrow when the children are at school so I can enjoy my latte and catch up on my blog visits. I'm a afraid to open Bloglovin', I'm pretty sure it shows more than 300 unread posts.

I'm beginning to feel the autumn mood. It happened yesterday when I was making a chicken noodle soup for dinner, a soup we enjoy almost every week during the colder months. I felt the shift when I was cutting the ginger and vegetables. Maybe this girl is ready for autumn after all.

Now I have to hop on my bicycle and pick up the kids. I'm still adjusting to the fact that my boy is now in the first grade. I hope you're all enjoying a wonderful Thursday!

  3. My Goodness, Lisa, that looks delicious! I have to be honest here. I got home and before I had the chance to sit down and eat my late lunch-early dinner, I opened my laptop to check my emails and then quickly entered your blog anxious to read your today's post. Well, the next thing I did was go and have my meal, because my hunger couldn't resist this delight. And now I'm back to leave a comment. But I have to try this yummy recipe asap. xoxo
