Self Service magazine is a Parisian fashion and culture biannual and in my opinion the current issue N° 35 contains stunning photography (every issue does). I'm especially drawn to the black and white photos but I had to add some colour.
The images above are the ones I picked from three editorials that were all styled by Suzanne Koller. The first photo, the faceless one, is my favourite; I simply love the setting. But it's nice to see model Anja Rubik's face in the second photo wearing that same dress, photographed by Ezra Petronio.
In the second editorial we have none other than Claudia Schiffer, looking stunning as ever, photographed by Angelo Pennetta. In the third are models Arizona Muse and Daphne Groeneveld photographed by Alasdair McLellan. The fourth below has model Zuzanna Bijochwas photographed by Mark Segal; styled by Tony Irvin. (Click the 'current issue' link above if you want to view more photos.)
I hope you enjoy the photography and that you're having a good start of the week!

ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteThis has to be my most favourite post yet. Adore the first two photos, the styling is opulent, glamorous yet delicate and that beaded dress is to die for!
Love the Classic Claudia pictures as well.
Love all of these stunning editorials! The juxtaposition of the black and white & coloured photography is incredibly striking. Claudia Schiffer is still so fabulous! Great post Lisa; I hope your having a brilliant Monday xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photography. Those first two photos are my favourites and wow, doesn't Claudia look stunning in that first outfit? Gorgeous combination of colours, the skirt length, the nude boots, so retro and stylish. Hope your week starts well too, Lisa! xoxo
ReplyDeletei adore Petronio's work the most.
ReplyDeletethe model's surname is actually Muse?! :)
Oooh la la! Not only is the photography stunning but take a look at the gorgeous fashion! The last 2 pics are definitely my favourite, I covet that beautiful star dress!
ReplyDeleteI love that editorial with Arizona and Daphne too! Got it in my inspiration folder on my computer because I love Arizona's hairstyle. I'm up for a visit to the hairdresser's soon (which I always find very stressful because I haven't been able to find an amazing hairdresser here in Antwerp yet).
