Today I needed a dose of fashion and the colours of the Céline autumn/winter 2011 collection by Phoebe Philo seemed perfect. The photographs are from an editorial in the September 2011 issue of Vogue China. It's called 'A Journey to the Modern Classics' and features models Fei Fei Sun and Ming Xi, photographed by Stockton Johnson. The styling was in the hands of Kevin Chow. I like the simplicity; how the focus is on the beautiful clothes and accessories without any distracting props.
I feel the need to get out of the house so I'm thinking about a quick drive with the two men in my life into the city centre where I'll grab a latte and buy the November issue of Vogue Paris. Milla at Not Just Another Milla gave it such a good review so I'm thinking of giving it a chance. Bonne idée?!
Have a fabulous Friday!

I really like Phoebe Philo's work and she;s doing a great job at Celine. I love that Berry blouse and those pants with the leather trim in the 2nd pic and the orange bag is gorgeous!. I'll definitely take that coat as well as those shoes... okay I have my new wardrobe! Great styling!

ReplyDeleteCeline by Phoebe Phile is one of my favourite brands. Phoebe has a huge talent and she managed to revamp this French label with unique class and minimal style. Not to mention that every time she designs a bag, she creates a new beauty...Have a great w-e!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are perfect! And I love the cuts too. Oh how I love Celine...

The clothes are the stars in this editorial. Beautiful colours, beautiful lines. Have fun with your two men, Lisa! You've made me curious about Vogue Paris. :)
ReplyDeleteGorge! Love the infusion of orange ... via la color!
ReplyDeletefunny story: back when I was a naive young one, unacquainted with the intricacies of the fashion world, I actually thought Celine was the collection of Celine Dion (whom I was obsessed with)....and so for far too long I obsessed over the Celine collections....and then one day (more recently than I'd like to admit) I realized it had nothing to do with the singer....but my obsession remains :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Vogue paris is always a good idea!!!
I love the 6th photo! Gorgeous modern style
ReplyDeleteI love the coats and the pants...
ReplyDeleteI also find the model's tied hair so neat and lovely... maybe I should tie my long hair more often.
I have to admit I have a particular respect for the line of those clothes.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend:)
LOVE all of this - first time I have seen the collection and I am wanting most of it. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend''
