elie saab's paris flat

This beautiful flat in Paris, where "opulence and masculinity merge," as Architectural Digest describes it, belongs to fashion designer Elie Saab. It was designed by architect Chakib Richani. I'm fascinated with various details, the symmetry of it, the long curtains and chandeliers, but a bit worried about all those candles in the second photo! But I wouldn't mind spending an evening in that room enjoying a delicious dinner ... with a fire extinguisher by my side.

Did you see Elie Saab's show at the Paris Fashion Week? Oh, it was a gorgeous spring/summer 2012 collection; beautiful solid colours. First there were white outfits, after that ochre that made my knees go weak, then peach, emerald green and Lapis blue. So pretty!

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

  2. What a beautiful collection that was! But I'm always fascinated by his creations. The apartment is not exactly my style, but I would certainly use a few details (in decorating my Paris apartment, lol) like the beautiful doors and windows, the curtains, the chandeliers. Hope your day goes well, Lisa. :)

  3. Would you look at that bedroom!

And I am afraid you are correct about 'last' so I edited it to 'most recent' ;)

  12. Thanks, lisa, for sharing the fabulous show of Elie Saab, I hadn't seen it before.
The living room is gorgeous, eclectic, elegant, and yes, I also adore the simetry in the spaces. That opulent bedroom is stunning. I love the strength of Richani's interiors.
I understand you... In my opinion the candles are too near of that wood wall. Kisses

  13. it is truly a marvelous house, I like the navy of the furniture in the first picture and also the "flowerish" bedroom. I think the pieces of Ellie Saab are so feminine and just so beautiful! And I adore the bags of this collection!

  14. I'm a big fan of Elie Saab and his exquisite designs. I'm not surprised that his apartment is equally exquisite. I love all of the oversized lighting and paneling detail on the walls - an incredibly French home, and hard not to love xx
