It was my plan to go into the city centre to do some Christmas shopping but my younger daughter is home with a cold, which gives me the perfect excuse to relax at home and read.
I was already dreaming of latte at a café so I think I need to make pancakes and hot chocolate and set the table nicely. I think we deserve that.
