settee meets painting

Did I already tell you that I have a soft spot for settees? Okay, I'll tell the truth, I'm obsessed. Hang a gorgeous painting above it and my knees go weak. The above photo is taken in Spanish decorator Montse Esteva's home in Barcelona and I find that settee-painting look absolutely gorgeous. And don't get me started on the ceiling!

I hope you're enjoying a fine day!

  1. It looks fabulous!! I'm also loving the black pillows on that cream pink settee. The book cabinet is a true inspiration for my own home actually, I've a similar corner that would fit one perfectly. Its pouring rain over here, how about there?

  2. I haven't thought much about setees but this image is totally inspirational! What a fabulous room! It's rainy in NYC today and I'm strapping on my boots to go out to run some errands and meet a lunch date :)

  7. Fabulous room... I love that painting! It'll go so perfectly on my wall too. And I absolutely love the moroccan dish/tray on the ottoman, a place for book, vase, and little things..

  9. Such a gorgeous room with the light streaming through those windows! I love artwork being the focal of a room and this centrepiece really does look incredible xx
