This photo would fit perfectly in my 'crazy lamp lady' category, if I had one. I like that lamp ... a lot. The orchid too. Let's just say I like everything about that photo. It's by photographer Russell Smith, who has a beautiful portfolio. I especially like his collection of food photographs.
Speaking of photos. I was photographing my giveaway this morning when all of a sudden it got so cloudy, but hey, rain is better than frost, right? I think I got the photos I need so I'll reveal the giveaway tomorrow.
Have a beautiful day, cloudy or not!

ReplyDeleteThe lamp is gorgeous and I love how big the base is! This room is such a lovely + bold shade of green! xx
ReplyDeleteit's a beautiful photo. the colours are amazing. and the atmosphere, too.
ReplyDeletesame here, cloudy (bad) but much warmer (good) - I hope spring comes soon!!
It's a cloudy rainy day here too. I love the wall color, so fantastic!! xo
ReplyDeleteHere it is sunshine today - wonderful to feel the sunny warmth in the house ;o)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see your give-away ;o)
The blue tones put me in a feel-good mood. I couldn't get any more curious about the giveaway. :)
ReplyDeleteThe lamp is beautiful, but I have to say that I love the entire palette of colours of this image!
ReplyDeleteAmazing style

Lovely picture¡¡¡ Great mix and colours.
ReplyDeleteLike Oscar de la Renta's show: A lot of blue! Special lamp, Lisa, plus I am into orchid, too, but I think they do not like me, I have already killed one and I am afraid to buy another :(
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a beautiful and sensuous photo! Here it is snowing:-) have a great day, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the colors and the composition of this photo. It's rainy today in NYC too. Rain >Frost ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis image 'speaks' to me too! I love everything about it - especially the gorgeous lamp, the intricate patterns on the textiles and the delicate legs on the little gold table!
ReplyDeleteCan#t quite decide what I want more, the lamp or the orchid. I love the sensuality of a glass lamp. I had a couple of my wish list after we moved houses, but at the end, things were either too expensive or the wrong colour... So we've got something else.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't you just adore that flower pot the orchid is living in? A piece of art on its own.

So funny, just this past weekend I was shopping and came across these amazing lamps and thought of my crazy lamp lady friend :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Well that is fabulous lamp! Especially with the blue wall behind it, just beautiful... Now I'm so curious about your give-away! Also I almost regret not having won the one with Parisian Chic book, now that I'm going haha;)
ReplyDeleteI just love that green lamp - divine. I have a thing for oversized lamps! x
ReplyDeleteIt just started pouring! I think I will go back to bed ;)
ReplyDeleteIts the pleated lampshade that does it - always a beautiful detail for me. And I love the colour of that wall! Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHelen:)
Beautiful things and the colors are awesome in this picture. This lamp is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am always looking out for nice lamps and they are surprisingly hard to find. This one I would jump at in a heartbeat if I saw this in a shop!
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of Wendy at Mulberry Muse and of Marie Antoinette too.
ReplyDeleteMulberry muse's images are so beautifully enchanting I love every one of them. I am looking forward to the new Marie movie with Diane Kruger. Thanks for a chance at these lovely things which I covet.
