What is it that makes Damask wallpaper so enchanting? I was browsing the website of Thibaut for inspiration and now my mind has this idea of a hallway with either of these colours, a beautiful mirror, a console table, a gorgeous lamp and fresh pink flowers. I guess my taste is becoming more refined with age. wink
Did you enjoy a good weekend? Mine was just as I wanted it to be, relaxing with a
trip to the library, sushi and white wine, and some baking. In fact, it feels like it's still weekend because the children have a spring
break and hubby is at home with a sore throat, so there was no
need to set the alarm clock.
I hope you are having a good start of the week!
looks beautiful!! I wonder if it wouldn't get too much too quickly, tho. but maybe that's just me :)
ReplyDeleteO so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like these brown shades!

I always think of damask as very sophisticated and elegant but for me, it has to be done in soft, neutral colours. I really love the colour of the wallpaper in the 2nd photo - the styling is also incredibly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWallpaper is simply not my thing, no matter how simple and elegant the pattern is. But that vase and peonies in the second image, oh my! Have a beautiful day, Lisa! xo
ReplyDeleteThese walls are gorgeous! And I love that you and your family didn't have to set an alarm today. That is a beautiful thing. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love it very much. If we had the right house, I'd definitely consider this style. For now, I am into plain walls and striped (am i HUGE fan of striped wherever they are)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Monday!

I love the wallpaper! I am kind of debating wallpapering my walk in closet....we shall see.... :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Mín helgi var einmitt svona.
ReplyDeleteKrakkarnir eru einnig í vikufríi frá skóla þannig að hér verður ekki stillt nein vekjaraklukka.
Gleðilegan Bolludag.
Wonderful wallpaper ;o) wauuwwww
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the refined damask print in the second photo! And of course the peonies;) We should start a joint peony/lamp file haha.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a relaxing weekend.
I really like damask as well. It has a traditional look but isn't stuffy if done in the right colors. Did you know that wallpaper has a crazy high markup?
ReplyDeleteIt's a holiday in the US today so it still feels like the weekend here as well ;-)
Gorgeous wallpaper and styling - looove it! :-)
ReplyDeleteDamask wallpaper always makes me think of posh, bourgeoise townhouses in big metropolises like London or Paris. Lush and refined.
ReplyDeleteLisa, you always manage to find amazing decor images! I personally prefer 'neutral' walls, but I have to say that wallpapers can add a lot of personality to a room...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the nice comment in today's post!
I'm with Igor, it feels very lush and refined - I like it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The right wallpaper really add to a room. Damask is so elegant!
