fashion friday – streets of paris & björk

As promised, it's 'fashion friday'. Karl Lagerfeld himself shot these photographs of Diane Kruger on the streets of Paris. They are part of an editorial for the January 2009 issue of the German magazine Amica. She's wearing pieces from the AW 2008 Collections of Louis Vuitton, Prada and Ralph Lauren, just no name a few labels. If you ask me it's one of those timeless editorials.

I'm adding an old song with Björk to get you into the weekend groove. If that one doesn't get you moving then I don't know what will!

Have a fabulous Friday!

    happy friday!!!

  5. Yep! Like this style and setting of photography very much! Sooo, Mr. Lagerfeld is still perfect in his work!I just saw him on german tv these days and thought by myself: ...but isn`t it boring to wear always the same outfit? Well, I think he`s got many of *the same outfits*, but year after year?

Wish you a very cozy, warm weekend, cause it`s very freezing and very cold here in germany...a weather souvenir from the east...
    Hugs, Beate :)

  6. Oh thank you for such a beautiful and musical post, Lisa! Love this editorial very much - adore the style and the fact that it's Karl's work.
Have a wonderful day and great weekend, darling.

  7. Monsieur Lagerfeld so inspiring!

  8. I really like the way these images feel like they could be film stills. One of my fave Björk songs. Also adore the Stéphane Sednaoui mv.

  9. Beautiful shots, Lisa. Love the subtle moodiness to them.

  10. Such great style! Love the black and white. xx

  11. She's so gorgeous... no wonder she played Helen of Troy. King Karl at his usual creative perfection self again! Love it!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
