back from london

I am back and there were a few firsts on this unexpected trip to London. We drove; took a ferry across the Channel, from Dunkirk to Dover. I had never done that. I have to add that it was great to be at sea. We returned via the Euro Tunnel, from Folkestone to Calais. I had never done that either.

London is getting ready for the Olympics and I would like to return after the games and stay a little longer. I managed to snap a few photos which I'll share later. I hope you had a wonderful week and thank you for all your kind comments on Monday.

  8. That's fun - I went to London once in school time with the ferry from Dunkirk to Dover, too. I loved the ferry trip and the approaching "white coast" of England!! Have a great Friday, Lisa.

  11. I’ve always wanted to travel on the ferry but sadly I don’t think our little car would make the trip to Europe! Can’t wait to see your photos, hopefully you didn’t get caught up in the travel chaos we have been experiencing here?!
