no schedule

My weekend has officially started and I cannot begin to tell you how glad I am. This week has been utterly boring; I have had limited time for myself and I have been filling out what seems like endless forms and papers (mainly in French) and turning them in. I'm not quite done as there is one place I have to visit next week. This is the tiring part of moving between countries, the bureaucracy involved. Luckily the people of Luxembourg are friendly and usually there is no waiting in line. When I arrived home today, after picking up the kids from school, the first thing I did was taking a shower to simply shower off this week. Now I'm sipping lemon water to add to the cleansing. That's how boring this week was! Tonight we'll be enjoying the weekly Friday pizza, home-made of course, with a glass of red. Something to look forward to.

If you have been going through a week that has left you uninspired, even exhausted, then I only have one advice for you: Allow yourself to enjoy a weekend without a schedule. Seriously, cancel all your plans and enjoy the comfort of your own home. That is my only plan. I'm going to read two new books that Mr. Amazon sent me (the highlight of the week) and I'm bonding with my fountain pen and notebook. No schedule at all.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND DEAR READERS AND BLOG FRIENDS

  3. This is so timely!! I dinner we have tomorrow night has just been cancelled so we have that time back!! Yey. I had to graciously say I was disappointed but actually I am delighted! I am so exhausted - have a million things on and launching a new apothecary business has been pretty tiring! Good though...good things come in small (glass bottle) packages!! Enjoy your weekend...Lou x

  9. My biggest luxury is a weekend of shhhhhhh. Well as quiet as one can be with a 3yr old -LOL. But seriously, I love to nest and cocoon my home and the weekends are perfect for just that. Shhhhh, I can just hear the sound of pages being turned on a magazine or brushstokes on some paper... brilliant! Enjoy the serenity... (ooh that just reminded me of a seinfeld episode - George Costanza's father .." serenity now..."! :)x
