cottage life

Last week I found myself daydreaming about summer days by the sea but now my thoughts have taken a different turn. I would like to spend a few days in a cottage somewhere, experiencing quiet country living with walks in the woods and plenty of reading. I think it would be an ideal way to say goodbye to summer and then return home rejuvenated and ready for autumn.

  2. Those boots placed by the door are such a lovely hint to autumn and the colder months to come. Every change of season brings some enthusiasm along. But I hope that today you're enjoying a beautiful summer day! :)

  3. I really love the place you chose to share with todays thoughts, Lisa - what a calming retreat. As a chap who grew up in the British countryside, I'll always have a soft spot for this kind of escape in my heart.

  6. While spending my vacations with my grandparents in the countryside, this was exactly the atmosphere, a lull place, especially between 12 and 4. It is such a refreshing activity, dear Lisa! And I love that white cottage ;)
