interior design: neutral living rooms

As someone who needs her space with just a hint of colour I have to say that I'm totally smitten with these two neutral and tasteful living rooms. I love the way the stylish furniture is arranged and how the spaces are free of clutter. Each item seems to have its place and the artwork and books give the spaces that homey touch. However, these two rooms wouldn't look the same without the colours of the flowers. Use something to cover them and see for yourself.

  1. I love that first image - the low line sofa and coffee table and less clutter on the table. And that fabulous drawing on the wall - love it! And just a bit more random with the colour of those hibiscus (well I'm thinking hibiscus?):)

  2. It’s amazing just how much a tiny bit of colour can totally transform a space! I couldn’t believe the difference when I covered the flowers! I feel particularly drawn to the living room in the last picture, the seating is beautiful!

  4. I like the first of these two best but, of course, Mr. Bazaar would have to add a dash more of the coral accent from those blooms! x

  6. When I look at these living rooms I just have a feeling of peace, I was once told that colored house are much more tiring then these ones. They may be right... Well, I am in love with that modern big lamp and the chair in the last one. You have such a great style, Lisa!

  7. Sometimes a vase with flowers changes the entire room. The second living-room is very much my style.

  8. Very clean and relaxed. I like a neutral colour palette in living rooms too (mine is dominantly grey, black and white) but then I tend to make some color statements with accessories. I can't help it after all:-))
