Space: cleverly placed art

Let's be clear on one thing, I'm not exactly the bullfighting type but this piece of art by Anthony Fry mesmerised me when I first saw this nook in the home of interior designer Jaime Parladé, a friend of the artist. It's cleverly placed; the bright pink colour completely transforms this space. On the website of the designer it says: "In the work of Jaime Parladé there are not any norms, only good taste and intuition."

I rest my case.

  1. I love this kind of intuition....

  2. This is spot on the sort of decor I would like if I had an exotic summer house somewhere. That hot pink literally makes me smile - so uplifting and vibrant!

  3. This entire nook is so inspiring! The white painted brick wall and the book shelves, and that weathered console table, the lamp and vase and cushion: perfection! But, yes, the art work is what completely transforms this space.

    Enjoy the week.
