  1. Yes, I have the same feeling sometimes I just wish I had more quiet mornings to enjoy it - instead I rush out of bed and off I am in the packed metro on the way to the office. Phew, what would I give for more quiet coffee time in the morning (side note: I can not wake up earlier to enjoy it. I just can't LOL).

    1. Change the setting on your alarm clock!!!

PS. I don't do metros in the morning ;-)

  2. Oh yes, I know that feeling when I can't wait to go to bed to get up in the morning, looking forward to enjoying a delicious breakfast, a good book or a cafe date. As I've already told you, I haven't been in the mood for novels either lately, but I'm hoping that Jean Renoir's book, "Renoir, My Father", which I received this past weekend and can't wait to read (Jean Renoir's "My Life and My Films" is one of the best autobiographies I've read), will help me make the transition from coffee table books to novels. :)

  3. I just look forward to getting some sleep, but I must admit that first morning coffee is the best.
We have a lovely post office too, one of the few remaining in a beautiful old building.
The staff are so friendly and it is really nice to be greeted by name and have a chat. That is something I love about the inner city villages where we live in Sydney, the friendly shopkeepers.
    Happy reading Lisa:)
